“I have technical skills on how to do my job, but I learned soft skills on how to navigate working with people of different backgrounds, people from not only different countries but different levels of technical skills. Learning how to manage human problems like conflict, how to make sure that people feel like they are part of the team, making people feel safe to contribute. I really like hearing the experiences from other people and receiving feedback on myself like what am I doing right, what am I doing wrong. Most importantly I love that there’s focus on psychological safety because I think in this day and age, we have to be kind to people.”
